Jose Silva, MSN, APN, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive psychiatric care for patients ages 12 and older in Fort Collins, Colorado. I am committed to delivering holistic, person-centered, and evidence-based treatment that respects each individual’s unique identity, values, and goals.

I bring a diverse clinical background spanning twelve years of clinical practice across various high-acuity medical and behavioral health settings. My professional experience includes inpatient/outpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, and critical care. My experience as a nurse leader, clinical nurse educator, and nurse practitioner informs a thoughtful and collaborative approach to patient care that emphasizes safety, clinical excellence, and patient empowerment.

I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training at Vanderbilt University. I am currently completing my Doctor of Nursing Practice at Vanderbilt, further strengthening my commitment to high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care.

My family and I moved to northern Colorado in 2021. We love the community and can’t imagine living anywhere else. I enjoy running, hiking, and traveling with my wife and kids.
